I guess I'm not to familiar with yours, but I've mainly seen them sold as frames, which means anything could have been used. Did it have a cotterred crank like an FB or Magistroni? If so, I'd definitely scare up a set of Sheffield's or similar. But Campy's early pedals dated into the mid-60s, didn't they?
