Hi:

I am second owner of a 1974 Schwinn Paramount. It has beautiful chrome nervex lugs and is made of reynolds steel tubing. It had the seattube, BB, replaced by Waterford (Schwinn still then) in 1993 and a braze-on group installed so I could upgrade the drivetrain to Campy Chorus Ergo. I love talking about this bike. I bid last nite on a 1970 Schwinn Paramount on ebay, but stopped when it went for over $500.00

I would encourage you to continue talking about a Paramount interest group. Oh, by the way, I have been a small town Schwinn dealer for over 20 years.
