I've recently acquired a beautiful, all-original, 1972 Masi GC. Medium champagne blue. Stamped MC58, with a 56.25 c-c top-tube, stamped 670 on the dt/bb lug tang above the oval cutout. Chromed, twin-plate fork-crown and front d/o's. The real deal. Lugs are exquisitely thinned and sculpted, not at all like the cast lugs that came later. The thing is in immaculate condition, except for a very small ripple where the bars popped the top-tube at some point. The ding is invisible unless you look for it.

I using your time with this because the bike is one size too big for me. I'm keeping it until I find one my size. What I'm hoping is that someone on this list has a Masi GC from either an italian sub-contractor of the late 60s, or a GC from the first two years of production in Carlsbad, that's a little small for them (55-56-57 would be fine), that they'd like to swap.

If you have one, and you'd like to trade, let me know. I can send more details, and some pics if you like.

Please e-mail me privately if you'd be interested in a trade.

Thanks.
