We used to refer to this as the "improved head angle", usually improved by
purposely slamming the bike into a wall to sharpen up the steering.
Sometimes, by design accidentally, by doing the same thing only using a lamp
post or the bumper of the car in front of you. With this bike, you can tell
it was by design because back then, there were no cars and a horse drawn
wagon wouldn't give you the same effect. It just didn't have the mass. I
suppose they could have used an old gas light post...
