Well, maybe I was a little undiplomatic in my email. For that I apologize, but not for the sentiment expressed. Here's the email Matteo sent to me:
> John you're a lazy S.O.B. All you do is read these threads, probably don't
> even ride.
> vic.

I'm not sure how he knows how much I ride. Since I'm carless, I admit it's only about 200 miles a week, including recreational riding, of course.

How much time does it take someone (who wants us to bid on his parts, BTW) to copy and paste the URL? If you don't post the URL than EVERYBODY has to do a search for an ebay ID. So, who is the lazy S.O.B here?

As for the URL not working, that may be a personal email problem, since I find that the ebay URLs work about 80% of the time, for me. If they don't work, THEN it's NECESSARY to do a search. Tom may be forced into this since his email program, apparently needs some upgrading, but I, for one, will not waste my time if I have to do the seller's work. I'd be willing to bet that there are others that feel the same.

It's only common sense to make it as easy as possible for prospective bidders to find your auction, for crissakes. My 2 cents, YMMV.

Well, I'd actually vote for Matteo on this one, as any URL for eBay I get through email is almost always garbled and unusable. Usually it's too long, and my email program won't preserve the "clickability" of URL's that extend over two lines. So if all I have is the URL, I have to retype the second line into the address bar. I suppose the safest way is to give us both, but hey, as long as I can get there in the end---

"I ve just listed some parts, easiest way is to type in "beesone"o nthe ebay search option"

NO!!! , the easiest way is to give us the URL of one of your auctions and then we can click on your other auctions. How long does it take for some of you to figure out how ebay works. Jeez!
