Ben must have been very busy in the mid-80's. In the same timeframe as the Murrays and Huffys, the bikes used in Campagnolo's U.S. neutral support program were Serrottas. In 1987 they were Colorado-like frames w/ Campy graphics. Full C, Campy freewheels, Record rims, Conti tires... very expensive bikes for loaners. Some had Syncro 1. Some had Mk-2 Deltas. Sadly, lots had Campy bottles and blow-out saddles. I was lurking near their pit at one race where they loaned out a bike w/ clips and straps (C-rec platform) and the rider came around next lap w/ a broken strap. Just thought I'd mention that Serotta did do some of the "Huffy" painted bikes... I picked one up with early C-Record and original red/white/black Huffy paint. It has the cool sculptured seat lug seen on some later Serottas, and also ONE "S-shaped" chainstay; non-drive side from memory. It's very short wheelbased, and if you don't mind lots of toe overlap, a sweet ride.
