Richard- Here's some frame size/saddle height ratio input for a new custom frame, from top to bottom: riding position, type saddle, type seatpost, leg/foot dimensions, pedaling style, crank length, type shoes, type pedals, the rider's understanding of fit, the framebuilder's understanding of fit, other's understanding of fit...I think this covers it all...anything else?...it all seems understandable to me..if your're striving for perfection. But, I see he is serious here. I assume that only unusually short or long feet would cause an otherwise "normal" frame size / saddle height to not be correct? Tell us more e-richie. a person's foot length is a critical dimension to consider in determining frame size and saddle height. any formula or chart that overlooks this measurement is incomplete. a person's height is not relevant when choosing a frame size. e-RICHIE chester, ct _______________________________________________
