Thanks Mark none of us were aware today that there was another bi-laminated lug pattern. This is what makes this list great, we can learn a little from each other all the time. The correct spelling is in fact "Avant Coureur." I have the 1948, 49 and 1955 original CB catalogues. If you manage to get hold of one of these and look at "the there off page" in the 48 and 49 edition and pages 3 and 7 in the 55 edition you will see that we were correct. I have also found a April 21st.1948 edition of Cycling with a CB advert for the "Avant Coureur". I know my spelling and grammar are somewhat limited for a"Sarf London Boy" but Wayne and I have the correct spelling for once.
