One thing I forgot to mention regarding the Masi Special. I believe the saddle is original. It is the exact same Brooks B 17 that is on my '62 Masi. Under the rail of my Brooks is the number "62", which I've understood to be the year of manufacture. We looked at the Brooks on the Masi in question and only the number "8" is apparent. Any possibility this indicates a 1958 Brooks B 17? I'm not an actual "saddle NUT" myself, but I know there are several of you out there. Anyone??
