that's THE THING!!!!! those guys ( if i can use the qualifier...) are nowhere near being on the same page re all this collecting and nostalgia stuff as are the folks in the list hood. "we" take a 3-5 year period that occurred in their lives almost 50 years ago, analyze it, disect it, re-write its history, and should NOT be surprised if they think we are two sandwiches short of a buffet!

I have had a few people ask for the correct hyperlink to the webpages that I mentioned yesterday in my post about some bikes that I have been unpacking:

There are photos of my Zanardi frame here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Zanardi

There are photos of my Marastoni here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Marastoni

There are photos of the hotrodded 1971 Masi here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/1971_Masi_GC_Verona

BTW, in relation to the debate about the Gios, it would appear that Alberto Masi was the one who refinished the paint on this Masi (also adding the top tube braze-ons), so he apparently saw nothing wrong whatsoever to it being hotrodded. Personally, I am quite taken by this bike and feel that the hotrodding has been done in a very classy way.
