I think we may have covered this before but from the 1970s and onward, but Falk generally designated a lower priced model. Probably nothing wrong with the steel itself but those models received less construction attention, less handwork, cheaper component parts (dropouts, etc) and often less or no chrome. And they cost a lot less.
