Seems odd to me, though I had never heard of a Hately (like many other bikes) that the discussion of Hately should come up when it did. There was a cycle path racer (or whatever they are called) Hately on UK Ebay two or three months ago that did not sell, and I offerred to buy the bike from the seller. He agreed. It arrived this morning. I should say that from my perspective, he luckly argreed.
I certainly like the bike so far: repaint with what appear to be authentic decals, pencil thin stays, front fender mounting, nice components, Nervex lugs, front brake drilling.
If any are curious, sometime this week--what tempts me is to skip a day of school, like tomorrow--I should get pictures of it after I take it out for its first spin while in my possession.
