Hi Ben, I predict you will love your new Braxton. I stumbled upon one in Missoula a few years ago, and it has become my favorite bike. Mine was set up with Zeus derailleurs and headset, SR 52-42 crank, Campy shifters and large flange Nouvo tipo hubs, Universal Super 68 Brakes (rear caliper mounted backward), Fiamme clincher rims, and a French threaded Phil BB. Mine does have the integrated rear rack. I understand that Sam was influenced by the integrated designs of the french constructeurs, and I assume that is why the french threaded BB's. My fork is standard British size/threading. I'd be interested to hear about your bike's geometry. Mine has very slack angles, 70.5 head tube, 72 seat tube, 5.5cm fork rake, 8.0 cm BB drop, 445mm stays, with about 620mm front center. Super stable - super comfy. If you can take some measurements, I'd love to hear what yours is.
