A few years ago I bought a Gios Super Record project from Morgan Fletcher. Morgan had intended to have the bike restored himself and was sourcing replacement fork crown coins and a decal set from Gios in Italy. In one of his email correspondences with Alfredo Gios, he sent digital pictures of the frame and asked for assistance in identifying the year made as well as if or where there was a serial number. Alfredo Gios identified the bike as a '80 or '81 and added that they didn't have serial numbers then.
BTW, the bike had since been restored with a Ed Litton repaint and appropriate parts.
