Am I right that the thing that determines if bike is built for a cable stopped front der is a housing stop at the lower left understop of the downtube for the housing that curves around to the der?
When did English builders drop this? My R.J.Quinn has this housing stop and cable stopped der, and seems to be a mid-70s model.
