I have the 531 Reynolds model, and the brazing is indeed rough - I don't think a file ever touched one of these beautiful Nervex lugs. I painted mine to fairly closely match the SS model since I figured I'd never find a real one. My frame's original paint was also pretty roughly done (lug pinstriping).

That fork probably isn't bent - I've heard people talk about the dreaded toe over-lap, and mine certainly does live up to the reputation. I've had a couple near-spills doing track-stands and such when my toe gets caught on the tire.
Glad this one is too big for me.

Does anyone on the CR-list have one of these bikes?
I have seen maybe three of these in my life and that was quite a while ago but my distinct lasting impressions were that they gave some Swedish? "MASTER CRAFTSMEN"?a bad reutation...I.e., they were extremely rough in execution. The lug lining or pin striping was also very sloppy... ? Regarding the paint on the BB, itf you look at that illustration the seller provides in his link to the CR web site, you can fairly well tell that the paint extended only to the lug area...
