Dear fellow Listmembers,
I am glad to announce the second edition of our CR-Ride in Oberammergau,
Bavaria, Germany on Saturday July the 25th 2009.
Last years first edition was quite a blast for all attendees and i was
very proud that even swiss and american listmembers made it to my
beautiful hometown in the bavarian alps.
The ride is for classic bikes and their riders following the CR-Timeline
rules, singlespeed bikes and fixies are allowed as long as they have at
least one working brake.
Last year saw about 25 happy riders doing around 75 km of riding in nice
and sunny setting. Roads will be small rural ways and a stop at a
typical bavarian beergarden is planned.
If anybody wants to stay for the weekend, for some additional riding or
parts swapping, accommodations can be organized, just contact me
directly. Oberammergau can be reached by car and train, and of course by
bike. I also can organize a small tour through my hometown including an
initmate insight of the passionplay theatre were next year the 42nd
