Subject: [CR] For Sale NOS Mavic SSC 32H rims, Gorgeous engraved Dawes Concorde bars, GB Touring bars

Hi everyone,

Offered to CR members are a beautiful pair of NOS Mavic SSC sprint rims in the not so common but desirable 32H drilling as used by most of the pro riders in the 1970s/80s and two pairs of gorgeous 1950s British handlebars.

Rims cost 46 GBP to ship to the USA. Within the UK the cost will be 18 GBP. Bars cost 12 GBP to ship to the USA and 4 GBP within the UK.

I can take payment a number of ways - Paypal, cheque in GBP, cash sent registered post, Traveller\u2019s cheques in $, direct bank transfer within the UK or European Iban bank transfer. I will always combine shipping in order to reduce costs.

With the pound being low in value these are a real bargain... for US and European buyers.

MAVIC SSC GREY/BLACK RIMS 32H NOS old style decals perfect, rare in this condition, the top rim used by almost all the pros in the 1970s/80s £125 http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Mavic-SSC-32H.jpg

GB TOURING BARS with engraved ferrule 1950s 25.4mm clamp diameter VG/Exc 38cm 20 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/GB-Touring-38.jpg

DAWES CONCORDE BARS Rare & beautiful, excellent. From the 1950s. It is not very well known that in the 1950s Dawes manufactured a wide range of handlebars and brakes for aftermarket fitment. They were really a quite popular choice in England until the early 1960s. The Concorde shape was very similar to the Strata South of France bars bending away quickly from the centre and with not very much forward reach and inspired by the bars used by Rene Vietto, the French Tour de France star. They were attractively engraved each side of the stem centre bulge. These are in excellent condition and the standard 15in width with a 25.4mm clamp diameter. The engraved sections are almost unmarked. These bars look absolutely fabulous with only about a 1/4 of the tops covered in tape - it accentuates the curves and the gorgeous engraving. 40 GBP http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r77/hilarystone/Dawes-Concorde.jpg
